{100 Follower Giveaway!}

It still amazes me that I have managed to attract (more than) 100 people to my little tiny corner of the Intraweb.  I love sharing all my crafty and knitting adventures with all the wonderful people that I have come to consider friends, and am so incredibly thankful that every one of them takes the time to visit me during their busy day.

To show my appreciation I would like to host a giveaway.

This is the Niddy Noddy that Mr. Pie and I made this week especially to give away to one of my followers.  It's a device used by knitters to re-skein yarn and is particularly useful for anyone who dyes yarn.  Also, because of it's size it's also fairly useful for measuring yardage.  This model is made from PVC piping and is spray painted using a brand specifically for plastic. It's a very useful tool!  I know because mine is just like it, only not as pretty. hehe

Enter the give away simply by following my blog then
commenting on this post.  I'll use the random number generator
next Sunday, July 4th to choose a winner!  This giveaway
is open to any of my followers from anywhere in the world!

Thank again for following me.   You guys are what make this whole blogging thing fun!

Sincerely,
 Sarah
The Student Knitter

  4. Thanks for the giveaway...I really love your blog and I'm so impressed that you have 100 followers (but not surprised!). How does this re-skein yarn (is it used like a swift)? Does it measure yardage because it is a yard in width? Just curious about this neat little tool.

  5. Aww, thanks! I love following other knitter's blogs to see what people are up to. It's such a fun little community to be a part of! Good luck on your blog in the future (and here's to 100 more followers!), I always read and sometimes comment.
Also, a Niddy Noddy giveaway is a brilliant idea, especially one made of PVC! How cool! I've always wanted one, and that's so neat that Mr. Pie makes you knitting stuff. :-)

  7. Sarah,
Your husband is so talented! I'm a wannabe dyer (actually got some lion brand fisherman's wool on the legs of my ironing board ready for me to take off and dye this week) and the Niddy Noddy would be a wonderful addition to my slowly growing stash of must have's. I have been following your blog for awhile even though I crochet and not knit. I love your creations!

  10. Oh...can you tell me what kind of paint you used? Please!

I have a couple PVC Niddy Noddies and made my daughter a warping board from PVC. I think the stuff is fantastic!

  14. What a great idea! Something that we knitters use (and that we don't buy because, ouch! expensive!) but you made it easy and cheap too! Thanks for the giveaway, I'm a new follower, but you are already in my reader. ;)

  16. Congratulations for your 100 followers! I alway enjoy reading your blog (although I must admit, I'm a rather silent reader...) and I love to admire other people's knitting ;)

It is so great of your Mr. Pie to make you knitting supplies! I'd love to win your Niddy Noddy - but I live in Germany, hope you don't mind... but as you wrote that everyone can participate, I'm just trying! :)
