{Yet Another Gift Done}

Today is Halloween, just 55 days until Christmas is upon us.  The days here are getting crisper with a tad of frostiness each morning.  I of course am MORE than welcoming this change from 70 degree days!  Let winter come!  The most surprising?  This is the second to last gift that I had to do, and then my Christmas knitting list is complete!  Almost too good to be true, isn't it?

Alrighty, now's the time for the standard warning: if you happen to be Niece #2 - You may not look any further!!  Anyone else, look away!

Okie Dokie, just completed today is this lovely Cardigan!  I used Caron Simply Soft to give it a nice drape and to be kind of fuzzy.  I'm a fan of this acrylic because it's not scratchy at all, but I found it to be a tad splitier than the Eco version of the same yarn, which I've used for numerous other projects for dads and nieces and nephews alike.

This is the Fresh Picked 3/4 Sleeve Cardigan, a free pattern from Lion Brand that can be found here (you do need to sign up for their website though).    The pattern was super simple and only took me 5 days to finish!

The last of my christmas knitting now comes down to that dang pea coat.  To Frog or Not To Frog? THAT is the question.

  1. It's darling! I wish I had a small niece to knit for (all mine are high-schoolers/college aged.)

  2. Absolutely Beautiful! You're really coming along with all your gifts. I'm inspired and impressed! :o) Can't wait to see what you decide on the coat. Either way, I bet you'll always refer to it as "That Dang Pea Coat" ;o) Larri at Seams Inspired

  4. The sweater came out just lovely. There truly is a place for all yarns! And I am jealous that you are so close to finishing holiday knits. That must feel great (I wouldn't know).
